Wholesaling a property that's represented by an agent

What's the Best way to wholesale a property that's listed with an agent! Will the agent be willing to allow me to get the property Under Contract, basically giving me a specified time period to assign it to a buyer? I'm thinking the agent is Strickly looking for a Buyer for the property so that they can make their commission! Also, does the Agent and Seller sign the Assignment Contract or what paperwork is used since there's already an Agreement between the Seller and Agent?

Hello Waide, I'm a realtor/investor and usually we have the seller sign and exclusive right to sell contract in my state for a specific time period, so we won't allow the owner to enter into any other sale agreement if it's not through us.

If the property is listed, all the investors will likely see it and try to buy it if it's a good deal.

So my questions to you are:

Is it a good deal for an investor?
Did you get the right ARV?

If you answered yes to both, if I was in your shoes I will probably buy it and rehab it myself.

This is my opinion, hope it helps
