"Live in Rental" Strategy
That is, the idea of purchasing and moving into a house while planning to turn it into a rental in the near future.
Anyone try this strategy? How has it worked?
I am planning to move into another home and make it rent ready (removing carpet and installing tile, replacing old infrastructure, making cosmetic changes) for the benefit of cheaper loans and an extended rehab timeline. Hope to rinse and repeat a few times. Curious to hear how others have navigated this process...
