Oklahoma's Economy

It seems like every week in Oklahoma there’s another news report about layoffs, relocations, or budget cuts. Oklahoma’s economy has taken a pretty big hit recently, mainly due to its ties with the oil industry. I’m curious to hear from other real estate investors working in areas like Tulsa and Oklahoma City how their strategies might have changed.

Is it easier or harder finding deals?

Is it easier or harder finding buyers/sellers/renters?

What are you doing to adjust?

There was a recent article that oil is starting to come back and barrel prices are rising again. There is an affect that takes time. So even though it is starting to happen now seeing a big change in markets to bounce back could take years.
