I think your assumptions are flawed. Fundrise is marketed specifically to people who have an interest in real estate investing, but can't get deals done on their own. All of those sort of people try to watch and time the market constantly which is why the first downturn will mark the end of this fund. You can't be faster than this bear because even you are limited to a once-quarterly redemption process - nothing fast about that.
Managing risk is about balancing the risk you take on with a return. You are not earning any sort of return on your Fundrise investment to make it worth losing your entire principal. And that's what you're risking every day you keep your money in this sort of fund.
