HELP.. Approved by one lender but thru an Agent not happy with.

I am fairly new to investment deals.. I purchased my first home 20+ yrs ago very young.  I got another property out of state through a friend referral a couple years later.  Both transactions were handled virtually without doing anything except signing the final paperwork.   Now that I am actively looking into R.E. investing as my financial wealth building goal, I want to make certain I am doing this correctly.

I have a Realtor that I am not happy with who has connected me with a lending company that has gotten me an approval for an FHA loan that I plan to utilize for a 2-4 multi-unit. I am looking in the N. California (Oakland, Hayward, San Jose) area. Has not been easy as the realtor consistently communicates with me via text messages. He also continues to guide me to areas that are too far away from my current employer knowing I must live in the unit if utilizing the FHA loan. He has sent me various listings of properties of interest just to find out would not qualify.

I am looking for another realtor but should I trust his lender or seek other lending?   Please offer suggestions??

As long as you did not sign an exclusive agreement, you're free to seek another agent.
