Best returns are in the housing sector according to economist.
I just read this article:
While the main thrust is a debate about wealth inequality, and whether famed French economist Thomas Piketty is correct in calculating how quickly the wealth gap is widening, there was this one blurb that confirmed that real estate is the best investment.
"Piketty assumed that the returns to capital were increasing across the economy. Rognlie found the trend to be almost entirely isolated to the housing sector."
In other words, the returns in the housing sector are going to get better. And we know they are already pretty good. :)
