Memphis and Jackson TN investing

I see a LOT of interest on here in the Memphis market.  Mostly for buy-and-hold.  I guess the ratios are better in Memphis.

For all of you Memphians (and others who invest in Memphis), what about Jackson, TN just right up the road?  When I take a look on the internet, I see a lot of brick houses selling for what seems to be very low prices.  Do any of you know this market very well?

Ha, well we are a bit different then in terms of small. I have a friend who has a PM company who invests there they think it's a solid market. I can find better yields in Memphis myself.  There is bound to be a Jacksonite who will enlighten us here on BP in due course!
