Anyone investing in New York - Westchester, Putnam & Dutchess Counties

Hey BP,

Anyone investing in New York?

Since I grew up in NY, I'm constantly comparing the markets in Westchester, Putnam & Dutchess Counties to where I'm currently living now in Orlando FL (Orange County).

I'm looking for buy and holds and most of the deals I see in NY just don't make much sense from a cash flow perspective. The high taxes kill a lot of the deals.

I'm curious what strategies people are using that are investing in NY and actually turning a profit.
