Tips for Finding a Renter?

Russ Desatoff
Posted

Hello, I have my first deal done and it's was handed over to the property management team a few weeks ago. Do you have any tips or avenues I can take to help them out with marketing my property to find a renter. The property is located in Cleveland Heights. I am putting it up on Facebook, Craigslist, etc. but is there anything else a newbie can utilize that you have found success with? Thanks.

Be careful of marketing the property on your own, there are a lot of scams out there directed towards tenants. If they see double marketing they will pull away. Also, you do not know how to answer all of the questions that the PM can answer - polices, procedures, how to pay, etc. You may think you know but only they really know how its works. You are paying them to do a job, I would let them do it and hold them accountable.
