Who do you hire to photograph properties?
This is a question for investors who, like me, do not live in the vicinity of the properties they are interested in buying, and must hire people to go take photos and video. Do you place an ad in places like Craig's List and Facebook for someone? The drawback I find with Craig's List is that it has a limited number of editions in any given state, and they revolve around the large cities. My research is in smaller localities, so it isn't clear to me that the photographers I need even see my ad. The author of Dirt Rich says he uses wegolook.com. Has anyone used this company? I'd love to hear back about the experiences of others.
I use Thumbtack for any help needed for rental, including photographer.
Also, you might ask a referral from RE agent, PM, or give a call to a listing agent you like the photos of.
This way you handpick the photographers with great portfolios and save time and money as not every good photographer will answer to your add.
If you still want to have some ppl coming to you, I would suggest to do the FB marketplace post of a job and run the ads for it on FB and instagram, but you need a good visual which you can create in canva.com.

I used a photographer I found on snappr.com to shoot my out of state property. It was a simple selection and scheduling process. Most importantly, the photos were fantastic including the drone shots.
You will find the Real Estate category under the Business photo shoot type.

Yes, it's a matter of the services you're looking for. Should have local real estate photographers too.
Oh, by the way, if you have a steady amount of properties to take photos and tours you might benefit from having Giraffe360 camera and take pictures yourself. It does amazing job, it's a matter of turning all lights and placing the camera in different places around the room. Takes and auto-adjust the pictures.
I second what Yanina said, reach out to a real estate agent and ask for a referral on whom they use for there listing photos. I use the same photographer on my szle listings as for my rental listings. They usually have a 24hr turnaround and have them in your email for easy download.

If you are on Facebook I suggest you join local investor groups for the cities you are considering buying in. Once in those groups, I am sure there are "boots on the ground" people that will go out and take pictures etc for a fee. I am an investor in Memphis and we have several groups on FB and I see posts that offer these services all the time. Good luck!

It's a European company coming to the US market. They already partnership with Zillow so if you upload photos and tours using Giraffe360, your property will be ranking higher.
Anyways, they send the camera with a year contract for a specific amount of properties you want to take pictures and tours of. It much faster comparing to MAtterport, needs less positions to make a tour, and creates publishing worthy pictures automatically. Also, you still can improve how they look, blur anything on them, etc. I talked to rep, then searched a lot online curious on how it will work in very average not newly rehabbed places and saw a PM in mid-west posting the results. They were great. A bet those properties got rented right away!

Dear Patrick, thanks for reaching out to me with reference to the vacant lots I am buying in several states. When I started my preference was to work with realtors. I found, however, that money talked. I don't blame them, because commissions are their only source of income. The fact is that the selling price of a lot might be $12,000-15,000, while a house sells for $200-300,000 and the effort involved might be the same. They would say all the right things and the next thing I knew they had ghosted me. It is unpleasant enough that I don't want to expose myself to that again.
@Sylvia Castellanos I found a real estate photographer on Google in the local area I needed photos of.
