Does anyone own LTRs or MTRs in Neenah, WI?

Hello! I am an investor and agent in Madison, WI. I am originally from Appleton and have been thinking about purchasing an investment property in Neenah. I'm curious what the LTR market is like in Neenah, as well as the MTR market. I am interested in buying a two unit. My plan is to rent one side as LTR and the other as a furnished MTR for traveling nurses. If anyone has any insight into the Neenah market, it would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, Lauren. I'm not in your market but I can help you get a gauge on the demand for MTRs there. One place I like to start is by searching Furnished Finder to see the stats for your particular area. Here it is: https://www.furnishedfinder.com/stats?ci=Neenah&st=Wisco...  It looks like there are 156 homes listed on Furnished Finder in and around your area and there were about 41k searches over the last 12 months which is fairly robust. Neenah ranks #23 in cities searched in WI. Furnished Finder has historically been targeting travel nurses, but all kinds of travelers looking for furnished units use it now. You can do a similar search on Airbnb by searching for 30+ day stays in your area. And you can always check to see if there are extended-stay type hotels in your area as that's a good indicator that there is a demand for furnished units.
