Scaling up from a single-family home

Hey family,

I'm looking to scale up from a single-family home to a multi-family. I'm a little hesitant because I'm unsure of how to go about it and the risk. The house is in great condition and cashflows $400 a month. I thought about selling or barrowing against the property but not sure what to do at this point. Any insight would be helpful. Thank you!
