How to start

Good morning all investors,

i am interested in real estate and I don't know where to start. I prefer buy and sell instead of renting for now but I don't know who I can hire for repairs and remodeling if needed, would it be a general contractor! I would to try with a small budget property either a condo or a house, what should I consider when searching.

Thank you

Good evening!

I'm glad to see you're interested in getting started in real estate investing. When you're starting out, working with a real estate agent can be incredibly beneficial, as they act as your fiduciary and can help guide you through the process, finding the right properties and ensuring a smooth transaction.

For repairs and remodeling, a general contractor is typically your best bet, as they can manage and oversee the entire renovation process. If you need help finding reputable contractors, feel free to reach out to me directly, and I'd be more than happy to provide you with some recommendations.

As for searching for properties, focus on finding emerging markets with affordable prices and potential for growth. Make sure to analyze the potential return on investment and account for renovation and carrying costs. And remember, networking is crucial – connect with other investors, agents, and wholesalers to find off-market deals and opportunities.

Best of luck on your real estate journey!

Best, Nick
