Foreclosures steps after finding the properties

So guys I'm into tax deed auctions but since that has been a pretty competitive market from in my experience I have branched out into foreclosures to find deals. Since this is my first time doing this I'm a little confused about what to do now. I used the property appraisers website to find foreclosures and have identified so far just one property I am interested in ( I'm trying to this step by step ). From here though I don't know where to go with this information. Do you contact the owner? That doesn't sound like the right move to me, how do you find the bank that is in possession of it so I can take the next step of possibly speaking to them out taking it off their hands.
