Tuesday Tip: Be Like The Best

This weeks tip is simple, if you want to be good at something it is helpful to find someone to emulate. Growing up when I wanted to get better at ice hockey, I would watch Chris Pronger, and for basketball I would watch Dwyane Wade.

The same can be applied in real estate investing or growing a business, find someone who does what you want to do and observe them and try and implement the things they do.

Lastly, notice common themes across all of those who become successful. Usually these people are surrounded by a good team, rather than trying to do everything themselves. They have a positive outlook, rather than complaining and seeking to bring others down. And when they make a gut decision, they still know & understand the raw data.

What are some traits of successful people you admire? Who are you trying to emulate and why?
