IL Tax Lein Properties
Happy Saturday everyone!
Newbie investor here. I'm leaning towards starting in a few properties I've found with tax delinquencies. If anyone has experience with the process requirements for Illinois, that can share some pearls of wisdom, I would really appreciate it.

Hey @Account Closed - Congrats on your first post! Tax sales & delinquencies are a little bit tricky especially up here in Chicago. What part of Illinois are you?
Up here there's a tax sale once a year that you have to register for then you have to go to the sale and bid on the deed. Then the current owner has a 2-year redemption period I believe and if they don't pay the back taxes you are awarded the deed.
I definitely think you are on the right path by looking for someone who has done this before.
