General Info on Knoxville

Adam Bhatti
Posted

Hi is anyone familiar with the Knoxville market? I’m visiting next weekend and wanted to take a look at some opportunities near the university as a possible rental investment. I can afford something up to 300k with financing assuming my payments are around the $1500/month mark. Can I realistically pull a profit here? Any info on the city would be great!

If you're talking about Knoxville TN it's a solid market. Depending on what you want, it will range from difficult to buckle your chinstrap and get ready to throw elbows. East TN is one of the hottest relocation markets around b/c we're so business friendly, low RE taxes, no state income taxes, etc., etc.

You'll have the normal investor headaches as anywhere else, but things can still cash flow and demand is through the roof.
