C of O and Knob+Tube Wiring in Hazel Park, MI
I just had an inspection done on my first potential house hack. The inspector found one knob and tube wire, but all of the other wiring had been redone. Is this concerning or unusual? Also, does anyone know if Hazel Park requires a presales/CO inspection?

In Michigan, building codes change every few years. it would be impractical for homeowners to be expected to continuously update their properties to meet the latest codes.
So, there is this concept called "grandfathered" which means that the city can't force you to update something that met their codes the year it was done - unless you are doing construction that would open you up to current code.
Your knob & tube issue is an example of that. They can't make you update it to current code unless you tearout drywall/plaster to expose wiring that you could then easily update to code.
What did the city inspector require? Depending on electrical permits previously pulled (or not pulled!) the city may require that section of wiring brought up to current codes or it may be grandfathered in.
