Moving Rental Property from One LLC to Multiple LLCs
I have multiple properties that are owned by a singular LLC. In my research, it seems that transferring that they should probably be held in separate LLC's. However, my question is, would I still receive the same asset protection in transferring them now as I would if I had put them into separate LLC's originally? Secondly, if it is still a smart move transfer them into separate LLCs, should I dissolve the original LLC that held the properties to make sure there is no connection between them?
