Bookkeeper / Real Estate Investor: The Power of The Follow Up

Hands down, the little bit of success I’ve seen in my bookkeeping and consulting business, and real estate businesses comes down to the follow up. Following up with prospective clients, actual clients, lenders, agents, brokers, sellers, etc.

A CRM of some sort is helpful but I don’t use anything fancy or complicated. (Google = FREE and if it's free it's for me)

Anytime I ask something of someone or someone tells me they’re going to do something for me, I automatically create a follow up reminder for myself in the appropriate business's Google task app to follow up with them on a specific date. If they get it to me before my scheduled follow up, I hit complete and keep it moving.

**Bonus: The scheduling feature within Gmail is an awesome tool for pre-scheduling follow up emails to buy your future self some time. All for FREE!

I hope this helps!
