Container Homes or Mobile homes getting traction?

Hey everyone!

Do any of you have any experience with purchasing mobile homes/container homes and installing on site? Im curious to know if an empty lot could have a mobile home placed on it and then sold with the land as a normal single family?

@Ivan A. Luciano Yes, I've moved mobile homes several times. It's a process.

Before you do anything, you'll have to check with the city and/or the county to make sure a mobile home can be moved to the location you want the home moved to. They'll need the legal description and address of the property to check the zoning and its requirements.

Also, you'll need to inquire about the process of moving mobile homes to see if there are any permits you need for the move and for the hooks ups as well when the home is moved to the new location. If you're interested in getting more information to see what's involved, you may want to talk to a few mobile home dealerships in your area. In the past, I've found they to be a good source of information and referrals when I need more insight in this space.

Hope that helps!
