To Pave or Not to Pave?

I'm considering a smaller house on 5k sq' grassy lot. Currently there's a well beaten dirt driveway on the right side that leads to an out house I would tear down. There's another 5k sq' empty lot to the home's left that I'm waiting to buy and build on. With that being said, should I gravel the existing driveway? Or spend the $$ to pour a concrete driveway to the right where maybe later I can adjoin to the other new buld. Idk. Thoughts?
