Heating source for one room!

I'm doing inspection repairs and need to run heat to two rooms. I was able to run ducts to the mud room but there is also a utility room that's hard to reach. I would have to tear up a lot of stuff. Would a wall heater be a good option? My short term rental as baseboard heaters and they are fine. What is the standard this days?

Thank

Hi Mark,

I have had great luck with Envi E-heaters.  They are 400W convection heaters that would be perfect for a small room like a laundry room.  They have different variations and some have thermostats built in which makes it very easy.  They have hardwired options in 120V/240V and plug in 120V models.  I have used them in homes I was selling where the lender required a 'permanent heating source' in each room.  You can take an existing 120V plug if you have an extra in a room and mount these on the wall over the plug wired into where the plug used to be.  Was a quick easy way for me to get the house to finance.  They are an updated efficient alternative to the in the wall heaters you find in some older homes and surface mount to the wall as opposed to having to cut it into the wall.  I have them in my primary residence, they are silent and extremely efficient.

Hope that helps,

Trevor
