Wall construction permit

Hi

We bought a house last year and hired a contractor (who is now not in business) to build a couple of interior walls so we could have a couple of extra bedrooms. The walls don’t have any electric outlets, so seemed like a simple remodel. This is the first time we have done any kind of remodel work. What we didn’t realize until recently is that he never acquired permits to build the walls.

So wondering what are my options to get this corrected ? Thoughts ?

Thanks
