Hello, I am meeting with a real estate investor to see how we can partner and grow together. What should I look for and what questions should I Ask him to know if he is legit?

What type of relationship do you seek and what do you think you both bring to the table? Regarding seeing if he is legit, go to sunbiz. org > search records > and then enter his name under Officer/Registered Agent to see what entities he is involved in. Sunbiz of the State of FL site for looking up entities such as LLCs, their officers, etc. Then go to the St Lucie County's (or whatever county he supposedly does business in) recorder, property appraiser, and possibly the tax collector's site. All three have on line free search features. Enter his/her name and also the names of the entities you find on sunbiz to see what properties they have done. I hope that helps.
