Hello BP fam!

My husband and I are currently in the middle of working on our fixer upper and now...BOOM! Water damage in our living room wall..big hit to the budget. We were going to replace our cabinets but it’s not in the budget anymore. Luckily, our current cabinets aren’t terrible although the pics look better than real life and the inside of the cabinets are not that great. So tell me, what would you do to this kitchen? (I know what I’d do but would like other ideas) And will the soffit hurt the resale value?
