Ok guys I need some insight before I go insane ..On my personal  residence I recently did a construction loan for a large addition and had a lot of work done .the contractor has been paid through the bank on five different draws according to what he’s done he’s a small outfit so we’ve been very lenient and the inspector from the bank seem to be as well because he ( contractor) would not always complete the work in the draw outline . He would still get the cash . This worked fine and I trusted this guy . Fast forward a couple months now the work has slowed down dramatically .the main problem now is this last $33,000 draw he hasn’t hardly came at all in the last several weeks virtually non existent other than a couple guys for an hour or two and it’s really starting to get where I’m worried .the Bank approved it each time when there clearly wasn’t enough that could’ve been done on the contract i got one draw left ( I won’t sign yet obviously) I only have about 10 grand left of draw and so now I’m kind of worried because the project can’t be finished on the ten grand that’s left . What can the bank do and what legal ramifications could be in play here . The contractor is about 70% done it has taken him over  7 months to do this renovation / addition . There is no end date for work to be completed in the contract . original amount was 105k ..can the bank go after contractor for this last 33k ? Even though they approved it ? How does this normally work when there’s a problem like this
