New Build Investment Property - Where to Start Looking
After a not-so-fun rehab project, we started thinking about new build. There are some of those mass home builders in our area - Lexar and Adair that can product a pretty good product at a reasonable price. They are the builder, but the owner still does the work acquiring the land and getting the site ready. They work with a bank that helps all their customers get financed, and they build single family and duplexes (nothing bigger due to insurance limitations). We were thinking single family for resale, and hold on to the duplexes. Anyone use Lexar or Adair or the likes for new build? I have lots of research to do on this new build subject, but wanted to start with this question. Obviously this is still a numbers game, and that has to pan out for the plan to work, but I'm looking at the other aspects too. Thanks friends!
