Assuming Land Does Not Perk Alternate Septic System Pennsylvania
Hello BP,
I am interested in a potential piece of vacant land for a future residential property. Assuming that the perk test fails, is anyone aware of alternate septic systems allowed in PA and if so their approximate cost? Or does no perk mean no value for building completely?
Has anyone purchased non-perc land and made it work?
The property is .85 acres if that helps at all. Thank you

If the land fails the perc test it can't be used for a septic system since it won't leech.
Other main alternative it to hook up to the town/city sewer system.
Without sewer system access, you probably won't be able to get a building permit.
What are the neighbors doing? Is anyone near by or is this pretty remote?
