Best Way to Connect with Custom Home Builders?

Hi Everyone:

I am currently wholesaling residential infill lots in the Phoenix area and I am trying to expand my network of builder-buyers. I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions on the best way to approach them? 

The buyers I have currently are friends-of-friends types. As the number of opportunities I come across grows, I would like to connect with more buyers. I have attended a few local REIA type events and done a Google search and sent introductory emails and letters with varying results.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to better connect with custom home builders that may buy one-off build ready infill lots, I appreciate it.
