New Home Construction Cost in East Cobb

Hello Everyone on BP,

I am a newbie to this site, but I happen to read some very good reviews and help some members received on BP which made me to join.

I want to find out the cost per SQFT for a new in home in East Cobb Marietta( preferably 30068, 30062 & 30062 zip code). I am planning a buy a land if possible, if not buy a old home, tear down and build a new one on it.

I plan of having a 4000 sqft home with around 1500 sqft basement, with high ceilings, 3 car garage, deck, brick & stone finish, built.

I would like to know the process involved in regards to permits from county, utilities, bank loans & most importantly reliable builder/General Contractors and Price/SQFT.

Also want to know how to hire a builder/general contractor and the agreements involved and how to take legal action if any issue comes up with them.

Thank you all in advance for reading the post and suggestions provided

$80-$83 per sq. ft. for basic finishes. Upgrades and designer finishes can push cost above $100 per sq. ft.

That's exclusive of permits, sewer tap, utility hook ups and land cost.

It all starts with plans . Some investors buy stock plans online and make modifications with the builder to customize to site conditions or preferences.
