Hey BP!

I will be Managing a New Construction project in Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo county, California. We mainly operate in Ventura and La county and are not too familiar with the San Luis Obispo county area. If anyone has built or knows of any good sub contractors that they would like to recommend, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

I have a window project and door project for SLO County, it's very hard to get subs up there, not to mention quality is very bad. Prices are a big challenge too, they cherry pick projects that are easy in easy out regardless of price point. I offered 50% more of an original blind bid due to complexity and they still didn't take it. it was a 10k (15k was offered) project for that particular scope, i had to bring my crew up, 4 guys in 3 days but I went out 8k. I would suggest bring your ventura crew up vs waiting for weeks if your timeline snags. there are onlt 3-5 companies that actually perform per plan according to a county architect assigned to my project with his 30+ years working there.
