Cost of new or Rebuild in Los Angeles

While doing my Driving for Dollars I have come across several homes that have burn damage and look like they'd need to be torn down and rebuilt. 

I have 2 questions:

1. to do a quick analysis - what are typical numbers for a new build in Los Angeles per square foot

2. is anyone doing a tear down and build in the LA area that they'd be willing to share the numbers with me so I can get a idea of what that type of project looks like.
