Seeking Advice on Condo Conversion in Plymouth

I am a real estate investor based in Massachusetts, and I am considering a new venture that's a bit outside of my typical purview: condo conversion. Specifically, I'm looking into the potential of converting a multi-unit property in Plymouth, Massachusetts into separate condominiums.

Before I embark on this endeavor, I wanted to see if there are any seasoned investors or professionals within our BP community who have experience with condo conversions in Plymouth or the surrounding areas. I'm hoping to gain some insights on the local market, any unique challenges presented by the town's regulations, and any lessons learned from your own experiences.

A few specific questions I have:

  1. - Are there any specific zoning or permitting hurdles in Plymouth that are noteworthy?
  2. - Is there a local legal or architectural firm you would recommend that has assisted in similar conversions?
  3. - Are there any unforeseen challenges or surprises you faced during your conversion process?

I understand that every project is unique, but getting insights from those who have been through the process can be invaluable. Please feel free to share any advice, stories, or recommendations!
