Anyone out there building a spec. I have a lot I have been sitting on and I think I'm going to pull the trigger and build a home with an ADU. I'm a buy and hold guy so worse comes to worse I should be able to roll this in to long term hold.

anybody want to tell me how smart I am?  Or if you want to call me a dumbass go for it!

This depends 100% on the location and the need. Right now most builders have stopped building spec homes for sale product. Is a spec for rental an ok idea? Yes if its in the right location.
