SRO Conversion? 4 unit to Co-living building

Has anyone converted a 4 unit multifamily property to an SRO? I was thinking of just busting the walls down in-between some of the units and converting some of the living room/dining rooms to bedrooms. I'm aiming to convert the 4 unit building to a Co-living building. Does anyone have experience with this?
