Multi-Family (2-6 Units): New Construction

Looking for someone who has purchased land and had a small multifamily housing project built (2-6 units) in Texas. Where did you find your Builder? Did the Builder purchase the land and roll the cost into the note? I am a TX VET and I am comparing the benefits of purchasing the land with my TXVLB benefits vs. working with the Builder to purchase the land.

Welcome to BP Jacqueline. I know up here in South Dakota, myself being a builder I rather purchase the land and build the project and then sell the final project when done. Unless you are getting the construction loan yourself for the whole project I am not sure there are many builders that will risk putting a building on a property they dont own.
