newbie investor facing a analysis paralysis

Posted

Hi BP community!

Iam a student just completed my studies in construction project management from fanshawe college in London, Ontario ( Canada) migrated from India in 2018.

I am very firm to became a real estate investor and i got this strong motivation from rich dad poor dad book and now from Brandon turner's webinars.

I know how to analyse a deal and run the numbers and want to invest in partnership so as to divide the money and risk of 1st deal and has a confusion how to find local real estate investors so that i can learn from them.

If anyone interested in partnership please feel free to contact me. Currently iam living in Greatest Toronto Area.

Iam happy to invest as a team.

thanks!

@Gurjotbajwa Singh, before you start meeting all those potential partners at meetups, clarify in your mind, exactly why YOU will be a valuable partner to them. Maybe you are good at running the numbers, meeting with brokers, managing the asset... Whatever it is get your "elevator pitch" down on what you bring to the table. Having said that, don't come on too strong - be humble, but confident - like you are an asset to them. Student housing may be tough right now, with school closed down, but at least accumulate all the knowledge you can now on the subject. It is a good time to study up.
