Easy answer on Orlando properties.

I wanted to have real estate in Florida for my plan to be a snowbird and when the market fell thru in 2008 I kept watching until 2009.   I saw  newer homes at $80,000 and the dollar was at par with USA.

So I bought one using my line of credit.  And rented it out.  Purchased without viewing.  I had trust in my Realtor, my property manager and the home inspector.

Then I did the same again in 2010 and in 2011.

All three have no mortgage and are rented at 1350 per month.

Nice cash flow in these and easy since the property management looks after everything.

I still have not become a snowbird yet maybe in the next 10 years.
