Hi Everyone,

I am new to real estate investing and have been analyzing potential deals in several markets for single and multifamily homes. What are some of the main questions that you would ask realtors or property owners when you look to assess the potential profitability of a deal?

Thanks,

Rashaan

It depends on the size of the property and available information. First step is to educate yourself fully on the market, the type of properties your looking at by reading the OM or listing completely and do as much research as you can on the property, area, rents, values etc. You don't want to ask questions you can easily find in the listing or the OM. Once you are fully up to speed then you can ask about any missing info addressing rent rates, occupancies, who the seller is and why they are selling etc.
