Soccer field grounds materials

Posted

Folks, following on my previous post, I am exploring the idea of turning a former demolished pool area into a soccer field (picture attached). I have an option to put decomposed granite as the grounds material and I am trying to stay away from grass. Would this work? Has anyone used decomposite granite or some other kind of gravel for these purposes?  From searching on google it looks like people use it for driveways/pathways and there is also stabilized decomposed granite, which could help keep things together. Would love some thoughts and recommendations.
