Multi person LLC for three people

I'm looking for information on starting a multi person LLC.

I currently invest in the High Desert, Victorville, Apple Valley Ca.

But I know the LLC doesn't have to be California based.

Thanks

@Trevor Aydelott, depending on the partnership an llc may not be needed. Have a RE attorney draft an operating agreement explaining the roles, responsibilities and payout structure inside of this doc. You should be good to go with that.
