Starting in Multifamily Real Estate Investing

Hello All,

I would love to learn more  information in regards to  multifamily apartment investing. I would be interested in starting my portfolio with Class C apartments, with about 6-8 units to start. I am interested in closing my first deal in Summer of 2020, and would like to be sure that I am prepared.

I am young, and I would like to begin building my portfolio, however my biggest concern is funding, and initiating the process.

Are there any tips or advice for a newbie like me?

I appreciate any advice.

For smaller properties in class c space, your best bet for financing is with local banks who know the submarket.  Develop your business relationship with them as they can give you favorable terms the more experience you have with them.
