I am eager, but still kind of nervous. I would love to a have a mentor that I can call and speak to. Also, finding an owner to have a Master Lease Agreement with.

@SALIAH S. As far as books for general commercial real estate knowledge, I cant think of one off the top of my head. I would suggest searching online. Check out this site here. It will give you some good insight on basic CRE terms:

If your looking for something specific to apartments....Joe Fairless's book on Apartment syndication is really good. Breaks down from A to Z how to set up your syndication business. Here is the amazon link:

All the best!

 Thank you for the recommendation!

Thank you for this valuable information. Are there any nationwide lenders that you can refer me to?

Financing for 6-8 units... start calling local banks and ask about their products for investment properties. Ask about how much you’ll need to put down, loan term (how long will they lend you the money), loan amortization schedule (usually 25 or 30 years), credit and income requirements, interest only options, and how they determine interest rates (usually index plus spread). They’ll also have insurance requirements and may escrow taxes and insurance like a home loan....

 Hello Dominique!

That is something that I would consider if the deal i right. I'm definitely not opposed to it !

Thank Yannik. Are there any books you'd recommend?
