NH Legal 2 Family but 3 Units?

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know what the process is like to convert a 2 family home into a 3 family? I viewed a home that has three full units but online it says the town only views it as 2? I am currently in NH and I'm sure the regulations and legal stuff is different everywhere but does anyone have an idea of how that would work and if so is it extremely difficult?

Thanks in advance,

Jacob

Hi Jacob, if you want to send me over the address I can tell you pretty quickly if it's allowed by zoning. I deal with zoning every day in my 9-5 job. If you want to do it yourself, I can walk you through the process, it's fairly easy if you know where to look.
