help with estimating rehab cost cleveland

Hi, I am in the process of purchasing my first duplex (2 bed, 1 bath each). it is a 2000 sqf 1950s brick duplex in Cleveland heights. 70 000 POS free. Kitchen and bathrooms are outdates. It is in noble Rd. Any thoughts on how much should we reasonably spend on remodeling the 2 kitchen and baths? Any thoughts on contractors on the area? Thanks for the advise.

Kitchens & baths are where you'll get the biggest bang for your buck. You don't need to install marble floors or anything but you want to have modern updated fixtures in there. I suggest a modern looking vinyl flooring with some new stock cabinets from a Home Depot or a Lowes with modern style silver fixtures & cabinet handles. Bonus points if you get an under mount sink with a quartz countertop & opt to tile the tub/shower surround instead of installing the usual rental property 1 piece.
