Rental properties for beginners

Jordan Borders
Posted

I just turned 21 years old, and am from the Dallas area. I am looking to purchase my first rental property. Any good tips for a beginner or mistakes you made when you were once in my position? I’d love to network and meet new people! Always, god bless!

@Jordan Borders Decide on what your goals and selection criteria are. Don't assume the numbers presented by sellers and brokers are accurate. Do your due diligence with actuals. Learn how to use calculators and other tools to underwrite properties. Learn the tenant LL laws. Join your state LL association. All the best!
