I’m looking to perhaps invest in PA and at my price point it seems to be in Harrisburg... can someone with experience in this area give some insight is it a decent area, crime rate, good for rentals?

Harrisburg has been great to me.  As @Dylan S. mentioned, the midtown area has been great.  I also like uptown Harrisburg above Division st.  The surrounding suburbs have some good rental markets as well (i.e. New Cumberland, Wormleysburg, Lemoyne, Camp Hill, Enola, etc.).  Like any city you have to be careful with Harrisburg because a block or two can make a HUGE difference, and I feel that aspect of Harrisburg is even worse than most other places.  I would certainly study up on the market or pick the brains of people that do know the market.

Let me know if I can be of any assistance to you.
