What are some things to look into for first property

Seth Coil

I think I have found a pretty good property. Before I call the realtor about it, I would like some input into some things to research on. Like some laws, regulations, and some hidden things I might be over looking.

@Seth Coil -Depending on where you live, double check that the taxes are exactly what is displayed. I live in NY and the property and school taxes will kill any kInd Of a deal. -Definitely want to verify rental incomes. It’s becoming a common theme of “this building has a potential for $X a month” when in reality it hasn’t had a tenant in it for over a year due to rehab, foreclosure etc. -Don’t be afraid to get “nosy” when looking at the property. It’s a huge purchase and people always take pictures from certain angles for a reason. Be thorough! Good luck👍😎
