How to find multifamily properties through public records?

I’m trying to figure out how to search county records to locate properties of 10-50 units in Sacramento, CA. http://www.assessor.saccounty.net/MapsPropertyDataAndRecords/Pages/Assessor'sRecords.aspx

Has anyone had success pulling up this type of information from public records? If so would love some guidance.
